It's difficult to troubleshoot that remotely, unfortunately. The top screen of the 3Ds was the actual gameplay (it looked a lot like the Windows 3D Screen Saver except you could not move 360, and everything was dark and gloomy and the walls were more of a grey color) while the bottom screen was a map of the maze.
